Also known as the Great Mosque , it is the main mosque of the city of Shkodra. It was built in 1994–1995 on the site of the former Fushë Çela mosque under the sponsorship of Saudi Arabia. The two minarets are 41.11 meters high. The central dome has a height of 24 meters. The mosque can hold up to 1300 believers.

Akhat-Jami is a mosque-cathedral in Donetsk, built between 1994 and 1999. It is named after Akhat Hafizovych Bragin, an entrepreneur and former president of the Shakhtar Donetsk football club, who died in a bomb attack in 1995. The building was originally intended to have only one minaret, but funding from Rinat Akhmetov enabled a second one to be built, which was eventually named after him.

The Wolfsburg Islamic Cultural Centre with the Al-Salam Mosque was built between 2004 and 2006 for the Tunisian community in the city. The centrepiece of the Islamic Cultural Centre is the Al-Salam Mosque, whose square plan is 16 metres long. Above it, the mosque rises in the shape of a large cube and is covered by a dome crowned by a crescent moon.

Alaca Imaret is a 15th-century mosque founded in 1484 during the reign of Mehmed II. The place functioned as an imaret (soup kitchen), a madrasa (priestly school) and a place of prayer. It owes its name of Alaca to its coloured minaret (Alaca = coloured). In 1970, as the northern part of the portico had collapsed in the previous year, maintenance work was carried out for the first time, which was repeated in 1993-1996.

The Ali Pasha Mosque is a complex built from 1560 to 1561. The mosque restored in 1894 was severely affected by Serb attacks during the Bosnian war. The building was finally rebuilt in 2004 and added to the list of national monuments in 2005.
