The Church of St. Paterne de Montrond, listed as a Historic Monument, is located in Neuville-pres-Sees, Normandy. It became a parish church and was modified in the seventeenth century. It is a rural building with a single nave and a choir with a flat chevet. The sacristy was attached to the chevet. The beauty of the church lies in its magnificent 14th century wall paintings and the modern stained glass windows created by François Rouan.

The church was built between 1627 and 1641 by the Jesuits with the financial support of Louis XIII. The inauguration Mass is celebrated by Cardinal Richelieu. It is one of the first churches to emancipate itself from the Gothic tradition. Indeed, the plan is inspired by the Gesù church in Rome. It was first restored in the 19th century by the architect Victor Baltard, then completely renovated in 2012.

The church depended on the former diocese of Saintes and an early 11th century priory given to the abbey of Souvigny. The building was ransacked several times, notably by the English during the Hundred Years' War, then during the Wars of Religion. The present church is only a small part of the important medieval building.

The church of Saint-Paul, located on the right bank of the Saône, at the foot of Fourvière hill, is one of the three oldest churches in Lyon currently preserved. The district, very close to the cathedral, was for a long time a very important commercial and financial centre. When you discover it, it appears just below the Fourvière basilica. Seven of its altars were dedicated to the Virgin.

The Church of Saint-Paul church is located in Saint-Paul-la-Coste, in the Cévennes National Park, in Occitania. This Romanesque church has existed since the twelfth century, is joined to an older watchtower. It was destroyed in 1621 during the wars of religion, then restored. It was then burned by Camisards in 1702 and renovated in the 19th century. Paintings from the Romanesque period were discovered under the coatings in 1999.

The Church of Saint-Paul, registered with the Historical Monuments, is located in Venas, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The church is mentioned among the possessions of the Priory of Souvigny. During the Gothic period the nave was extended by a choir. The western portal dates back to the 14th century and the painted decorations date from the 19th century. There is a classified wooden statue of St. Roch dating from the seventeenth century.

The church of Saint-Paul-Aurélien was built in the 19th century (1860) according to the plans of the architect Le Bigot, and is dedicated to the first evangeliser of the island who arrived in 517. The bell tower remained unfinished for a long time and was finished thanks to a donation from the British crown in 1896, which thanked the population for the help given during the sinking of the Drummond Castle, an English liner which sank west of Molène.

With its length of 45 meters and its width of almost 19 meters, the church is one of the largest buildings built in France by the Jesuits. Its design and style are in keeping with the Baroque architectural movement. The interior impresses with its harmonious proportions, architectural sobriety and decorative richness. Classified as a Historic Monument in September 1997, it was endowed in 2006 with a chandelier created by the Bordeaux artist Jean-François Buisson.

The construction of the parish church Saint Paul-Serge de Bagnoles began in the fourth century. Later renovated in the Romanesque style, it first served as a chapel at the Château de Bagnoles. After falling into ruins, the chapel became a church and was rebuilt and enlarged in the Gothic style. The interior furniture is carved in the red marble of Caunes Minervois.

The St Phal Gothic church (16th century) was built according to the model of the hall churches, but the rectangular nave, which is extended by an apse, was ultimately only built to one span instead of the traditional four. Note the double transept that surrounds the choir and the two flamboyant gates: one Gothic and one Renaissance. In the nineteenth century, work was carried out under the direction of the architect Lorillard. This truncated hall-church is interesting for its architecture, its windows and its portals.
