Kagyupa Samye Ling Monastery was founded in 1967 by Tibetans Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Akong Rinpoche. The complex includes a Tibetan temple, a large stupa and accommodation for those attending courses in Buddhism and meditation. Since the 1970s, it has also been a training centre for the technique of making thangkas, a Tibetan art.
St Mary’s church is located in Denton, a village in Norfolk some hundred yards north to the A143 and about halfway between Harleston and Bungay.
All Saints church is located in Gresham, a small Norfolk village about 4 miles south of the popular seaside town of Sheringham.
The church had its origins in Pictish times at St Brigids Well on Gretna Hill. By the 16th century the church at Reinpatrick, or the Red Kirk, had fallen into decay and was joined to the Parish of Graitney. The parishes of Gretna and Redkirk were united in 1609.
