Kirkesnesmoen Chapel

The Øverbygd church is a wooden church dating from 1867, the work of the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The interior of the church was restored in 1967 and 1972. Among other things, the wooden walls were insulated and panelled to make the church warmer. Recently, the inhabitants have tried to bring the church's furniture back to its original style.

The Målselv church was consecrated in 1978, after the old wooden church from 1883 was reduced to ashes by lightning in 1972. The new church is a working church, built in concrete according to plans by architect Kjell Hansen of the Gangvik architectural practice in Tromsø. On the long side of the building there is a high, flat-roofed bell tower. In the wings surrounding the church hall are the parish hall, meeting rooms, offices and kitchen. The church hall is rectangular, with a high, pointed gabled roof.

Bardu Church was built in 1825-1829, based on the model of Tynset Church, but on a smaller scale. The church has an octagonal plan, a large square tower to the west and a choir to the east. The exterior of the church is clad with vertical panels painted white. The tower was not completed until 1840.
