The Chapel at St Thomas Hospital has recently reopened after months of painstaking renovation work.

The Chapel of St Mary Undercroft was completed by King Edward I in 1297, further developed under Edward II, and finally completed by Edward III in around 1365.
An architectural masterpiece of the 13th to 16th centuries, Westminster Abbey also presents a unique pageant of British history; the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, the tombs of kings and queens, and countless memorials to the famous and the great. It has been the setting for every Coronation since 1066 and for numerous other royal occasions, including sixteen royal weddings.
Part of the headquarters of the Mothers' Union, this chapel is full of images and artwork celebrating women. Windows show images of Julian of Norwich and St Hilda of Whitby, and the roll of honour remembers the names of members of the Union who lost their lives during wartime.
