Temppeliaukio Church

The church Temppeliaukio is an Evangelical Lutheran church completed in 1969. The church, carved into the rock, was designed by Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen. Thanks to its acoustic properties, the church is a popular venue for concerts.

Kamppi Chapel

Kamppi Chapel was inaugurated in 2012. The chapel is part of the Helsinki Design Capital Year projects and was designed by architect Mikko Summanen. The chapel won The Chicago Athenaeum: International Architecture Awards For The Best New Global Design Award 2010.

Old Church

The old Helsinki church is the oldest church in the city of Helsinki. It was inaugurated in 1826 as a temporary replacement for the former Ulrika Eleonora Church, destroyed to make way for the new Senate building.
