St. Jacob's Church was one of the first "working churches" (A church building that includes numerous additional rooms for meetings and activities) in the country. The church was built in the inter-war period (completed in 1921) in a neo-Romanesque style in plastered brick. St. Jakob's church is the "Youth Cathedral of Bergen", its congregation organises activities for young people between 15 and 30 years of age.

The Gothic St. Jacob's Church is one of the oldest buildings in Chemnitz. It was built in several stages between 1350 and 1412 on the foundations of an older Romanesque church. In 1945, the church was almost completely destroyed and was rebuilt until 1974 for the exterior and 2009 for the interior.

St. Jacob's Church is a fortified church dating back to the 13th century. The church is one of the oldest buildings on Saaremaa Island.

This church was built around 1500 in the late Gothic style. In the 16th and 17th centuries, a number of noble burials from the surrounding estates took place here. In 1699 the previous baroque church was given a new altar. From this the shape of the risen Christ has been preserved. The figure was rediscovered, restored in 1928 and placed on the console opposite the pulpit in 1930. The stained glass windows in the chancel show the 12 apostles. The design for the stained glass also comes from Church Architect Möckel, the drawings from historical painter Dietrich from Dresden. In the middle of the chancel there is a brass chandelier from 1730, which was already in the previous building.

The church of St. James was first mentioned in the 12th century. The church was rebuilt twice after earthquakes in 1348 and 1690. In 1944, the 16th-century glass paintings and the church roof were destroyed. Complete restorations were carried out in the second half of the 20th century.

The Saint-Jacques church was built between 1491 and 1656, in the style of Brabant Gothic with a strong influence and Renaissance decorations. It was planned that this building would become the largest Gothic church in the world, however, the church was only partially completed. As a result of the 1944 bombing, the church lost most of its original stained glass windows.

St. James' Church was built from 1869 to 1872 on the site where a chapel had stood since the 16th century. The new church, built by the Russian authorities, was Orthodox and in Byzantine style. After changes of denomination throughout the first half of the 20th century, the church finally became Catholic in 1946.

St. James Cathedral is the catholic cathedral of Riga. Built in 1225, it is an important building for the cultural and historical environment of Riga. The interior of the Gothic church shows the influence of Cistercian architecture.

St. Janskerk

St. Joachim’s Parish Church in Skawinki was built in 1733 in nearby Przytkowice. It was moved to its present location in 1962-64.
