The Zuiderkerk, built between 1603 and 1614, is the first church designed in Amsterdam for Protestant worship. It was built in a Baroque style.

Also Dutch Reformed Church and Reformed Church (Liberated), until 1995. A combined Christian Reformed Church / Dutch Reformed Church is located here. The Zuiderpoort is a congregation that has been a cooperative congregation since its foundation in 1983 and is affiliated with the Christian Reformed Churches (CGK) and the Dutch Reformed Churches (NGK). An important aspect of our being a congregation is that we seek ways to be hospitable to the residents of Almere and to the guests who attend our services. The congregation consists of approximately 400 members with a very diverse religious background.

The Zülfaris (Kal Kadoş Galata) Synagogue in Istanbul is a Sephardi synagogue completed in 1823. It was rebuilt in 1890 and 1904. This stone building now serves as a museum.

The Village Church of Zurich was built in 1864, replacing a church that was demolished in 1772. The tower of the old church remained standing, but was radically modified in 1913 when the church was restored from outside. The church and tower were then given a "coat" in neo-Renaissance style, which is quite rare in Frysin.

Ænes Church is a medieval stone church with a short, almost square nave and a lower, narrower choir, which is also almost square. The church of Ænes was probably built in the 13th century. In front of the west entrance is a bell tower that was built in 1869, when the church was restored with, among other things, new and lower roofs. The bell tower replaces an old porch. The church was restored in 1901, and in the 1950s it was restored by the architect Kristian Bjerknes.

Øksendal church is a long church from 1864, designed by architect Adolf Schirmer. It probably the third church built on the site.

Øksfjord church is a brick long church from 1954. The architect for the church was Hans Magnus, who in the following decades designed several other churches in northern Norway and on Svalbard.

Øksnes church was built around 1700 out of 16th-century wood. It was restored in 1796 and 1900.

Ølen church is a wooden church that was built in 1874. The architect of the church is Tjerand Tjerandsen Søndenaa or “Solem”.
