Timios Stavrou, built in the 14th century, is one of the painted churches of the Troodos World Heritage Site. Its interior is filled with frescoes from the Paleolian period (1261-1453).

The current building of the Timios Stavros Monastery dates from 1816 and replaces an old Byzantine church. Today, the monastery has a dual use, as a parish church and as a museum of Byzantine icons.

The Timos Prodromos church - an 18th century church - is located in the former centre of the village. According to an inscription above the south portal, the church has been used by the Silk Cocoon Association since 2008.

The Timrå Church was inaugurated on 16 October 1796.

The Tingelstad church was built of unpainted red bricks according to the drawings of Schirmer and von Hanno. The church is characterised by neo-gothic forms and is relatively large and richly designed. In 1925, the slate at the top of the tower was replaced by copper. In 1958, the church was extended with a baptismal waiting room on the first floor and a chapel in the basement.
