Neo-Gothic church with tower. Originally built as a Dutch Reformed Church. It is currently used as a Buddhist temple.

The Church of St. Ignatius, known locally as the "two-tower church" or "Watertown church", was built by the Jesuits between 1728 and 1738. In 1788 it became a parish church and from 1820 to 1856 it functioned as a temporary cathedral. The original church, which did not have a tower because it was strategically forbidden to build towers near the castle, received its two towers in the 19th century.

The Watschiger Toleranzbethaus is a Protestant church built in 1782, it was the second Toleranzbethaus built in stone in Carinthia and the oldest preserved. Toleranzbethäuser were Protestant churches built after 1781 on the basis of the tolerance patent of Emperor Joseph II of the Holy Roman Empire.

The Royal Archcathedral Basilica of Saints Stanislaus and Wenceslaus on the Wawel Hill was founded by the construction of a first building around the year 1000. Thereafter, succeeded a Romanesque church in the 12th century and finally a Gothic church in the 14th. The cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage since 1978.

Built for the Baptist community. Expansion in 1958, out of use in 1997, then Evangelisation post of the Reformed community. In 2004 the community received the organ from the Ger. Gem. of Ermelo, Hanengewei 69 - Eben Haëzer .

The Weifenbach church, built in 1711, is one of the half-timbered churches in Hesse. The church has an octagonal turret and is furnished as a transverse church.

The Evangelical Lutheran wooden church was inaugurated in 1889 in the rich district of Weisser Hirsch. From 2012 to 2014, the interior of the church was completely rearranged: the painter Gerda Lepke created the new altarpiece "The community of believers" and the sculptor Hans-Volker Mixsa designed the furniture corresponding to the area of the altar.

Built as a Reformed Church. Modern church without a tower. Replaced an earlier church. Also in use (or has been) by the Roman Catholic Church.

The Cathedral of St Andrew in Wells was built from 1180 to 1490, and it combines different trends in English Gothic architecture. One of the major innovations of this building was the addition in the 14th century of "inverted arches" or "scissor arches" at the crossing of the transept.
