Willibrorduskerk
Herveld, NL
A church on this site was first mentioned around 1200. The administrators of the diocese of Utrecht, the cathedral chapter, drew up a list of parishes that had to hand over their tithes to them. Herveld belongs to those church communities that had to hand over 10% tax to the national church. On 13 May 1348, Knight Jan van Homoet acknowledged having received the tithes and other income in the parishes of Andelst and Herveld from the cathedral chapter on lease for two years. The church also appears on a list of churches of the Domfabriek from the year 1395.
