The Agios Savvas Chapel is located northwest of the village and, like many of the small churches in this area, near the sea. Not much is known about this small church with a flat roof. It is in a poor state of repair: the plaster is crumbling in many places and there is a large crack in the back wall of the apse. It was not possible to inspect the interior, as the church is used as a warehouse and was full of sacks of animal feed.

The small Agios Theodoros Chapel is located about 3 km north of the village near the sea (between the Archangelos and Agios Mikkalos Chapel). This chapel, which is equipped with a sloping flat roof, is in a poor state of repair. Large cracks and damage can be seen in the entrance area and above the window to the south. The interior is littered with rubbish and debris. The roof already shows structural damage.

The small Agios Trikas (Apostolos Andreas) Chapel is located to the north-east of the village, near the main road to Rizokarpaso. Like many churches in this region, it has a sloping flat roof. The condition of the building can be described as fair to poor. In particular, problems with the masonry can be seen in the interior, in the area where the side walls meet the apse. The church was also apparently used as a hay bar for a long period of time.

The Archangelos Chapel is located north of the village near the sea. The condition is fair to poor. The structure of the building appears to be intact. The floor inside is covered with a mixture of bird droppings, soil and debris. The plaster on the walls is crumbling.

The Panagia Panagia Melissas Chapel is located about 6.5 km west of the village on the outskirts of the district of Akanthou. The small church is in a poor state of repair. All the exterior walls have large cracks running through them, which may indicate a structural problem. Inside, too, large sections of the wall and ceiling plaster have fallen down, and stones have already fallen down.

The chapel of Panagia Pergamiotissa is located about 4 kilometres north-east of the village, near the main road to Rizokarpaso. As Kassinis writes, this church was built in the 12th century over a church from the 6th century in the area of an ancient settlement from the Byzantine period. Only a few parts of the frescoes have survived to this day. The historic church has been used as a local museum for some time. The outdoor area is also being converted for tourist purposes.

The Panagia ton Trion Teratsion Chapel is located about 5 kilometres west of the village in the fields. It is a typical building for this area, with a sloping flat roof. The basic structure of the church still seems to be in reasonable condition. Inside, it is clear that this church was used as a stable for animals for a long time. These traces can still be seen clearly on the floor and ceiling. Graffiti in Greek can be found on the walls and in the apse area.

The so-called New Church of Sotiros is located in the southern part of the original settlement. It was built in 1914-1939 and consecrated in 1942. After 1974, it was converted into a mosque ("Tatlısu Camii") and is still used as such today.

A romaneque church from the 12th century, the place of worship has an almost square choir, a semi-circular apse and a rectangular nave. The vault is inlaid with original ceramic pots to improve the acoustics.

Akershus Castle Church is the main church of the armed forces. In all probability, there has been a church or chapel on the fortress since the time of Håkon V Magnusson in the early 14th century. The present church is located in the south wing of Akershus Castle, where parts of the first floor were converted into a church after a fire in 1527. After the fire, the entire south wing was used as a church. In the years 1738-1740, a major restoration was carried out. The interior was modified again around 1820. In 1920 the church was partially restored by Holger Sinding-Larsen.
