In the sixties, the reformed church de Hoeksteen was adapted as a youth centre.

De Hoeksteen is a church built in 1974 to replace an older wooden church in the town of Alblasserdam. It belongs to the Union of Baptist Churches in the Netherlands.

The NGK Community De Hoeksteen in Haren works together with the Christian Reformed Church (CGK) in the city of Groningen, with two church buildings: the historic Jerusalem Church in the north and the modern Maranatha Church in the south.

This church is listed as a Municipal Monument of the Netherlands.

In the early years also co-used by the Roman Catholic Church. From 1977 onwards, the Roman Catholic Church no longer participated in this co-use.

This church is listed as a Municipal Monument of the Netherlands.

Designed in 1950 by the famous architect Sybold van Ravesteyn, more or less in the Delft school style. Construction started on 19 March 1951. The builder was the Oord company from Vriezenveen. Until 2006 this church was a Dutch Reformed Church. After that it was sold to the Christian Reformed Church. After the sale the church was restored by order of the building committee of the Christian Reformed Church in Emmeloord. The renovation was carried out under the advice and supervision of Monumentenwacht Overijssel / Flevoland.
