Initiated by order of Ibrahim Pasha (hence the name of the mosque) - Grand Vizier of Sultan Suleiman I the Magnificent, construction was stopped in 1536 after the death of the Vizier and was completed only in 1616 by Mahmoud Pasha. The horizontal forces from the dome are absorbed by four buttress corner towers and the pilasters along the cylindrical vestibule. The minaret is made of cut stone with plaster ornaments under the window. The interior of the mosque bears original frescoes.

In the early eighties, a growing number of residents of Etten-Leur attended the meetings of Evangelische Gemeenschap Roosendaal (EGR). This led to the creation of several house groups in Etten-Leur. After initially holding monthly meetings in the Trouwkerkje, the EGR sent two elders to Etten-Leur at the end of September 1986 to lead the newly formed Ichthus congregation.

Built as a Reformed Church. Damaged by war in 1944, rebuilt in 1950, named Ichthus Church. Architecturally interesting hall church with roof turret and attached parsonage, built in 1938-1939 to a design by SJ Meegdes and A. ten Broeke. Organ with two manuals and free pedal, built in 1951 by the firm JC Sanders & Zoon (Utrecht). In the front facade large round stained glass window "Ichthus"; in the side walls also stained glass windows.
