Built as a Reformed Church. Damaged by war in 1944, rebuilt in 1950, named Ichthus Church. Architecturally interesting hall church with roof turret and attached parsonage, built in 1938-1939 to a design by SJ Meegdes and A. ten Broeke. Organ with two manuals and free pedal, built in 1951 by the firm JC Sanders & Zoon (Utrecht). In the front facade large round stained glass window "Ichthus"; in the side walls also stained glass windows. Since 2004-2005 the Ichthus Church is one of the three remaining churches of the PKN in IJmuiden:

Built as a Reformed church. Interesting reconstruction church without tower, in 2004 with bell tower. Community center with services. This church is also called the Ichthus Community because all activities usually take place in the Ichthus church building. After cooperation, in the context of Samen Op Weg, with the Dutch Reformed community of Zeihuuv expanded in 2004. New entrance with bell tower, in which the bell of the Reformed church, placed at the Ichthus church. The name of the defunct Reformed church building Zeihuuv lives on in the large community room under the church hall.

Protestant Community Colmschate/Schalkhaar. Originally in use as the Dutch Reformed Church of Colmschate. Hall church with saddle roof tower in traditionalist forms. History After the arrival of Rev. A. van der Walle in 1937, it was decided to build a new church to replace the old one, which was built in 1844. The church council also decided to commission architect W. Verschoor to build a hall church with saddle roof tower in traditionalist forms. The church received various donations for the church. On 8 March 1938, the mayor and aldermen of Diepenveen granted permission for construction. The church was built in a few months. The firm J. Berends en Zonen built the church for f 23,343. f 3018 was spent on pews, pulpit, baptismal font and tables. The central heating cost f 1615, the chandeliers with wall arms f 985 and the organ f 1,682. The new church was consecrated on Friday, September 16, 1938.
