The small cemetery chapel was left to its own devices for many years and, like the Greek Orthodox cemetery surrounding the chapel, was completely dilapidated. A few years ago, a Turkish-Cypriot businessman commissioned the restoration of the entire area. Today, the small chapel is in good condition again, as is the cemetery. The entire area is permanently maintained.
