Altun-Alem Mosque is a 16th-century Muslim temple in Novi Pazar. It is one of the oldest Islamic buildings in Serbia. Its name means "Golden Gem". It has a square shape with an entrance porch topped with two small domes.

Built and expanded in the 13th and 15th centuries respectively, the church was blazed for at least three time in its history. The altarpiece from 1862 was painted by the artist Johan Zacharias Blackstadius.

Alvastra Monastery is a former Cistercian monastery founded in 1143 by monks from the French monastery of Clairvaux. Together with the monastery of Nydala, it is considered one of the first Cistercian monasteries in the Nordic countries. The monastery was used continuously until the 1530s when monasteries were banned by the Reformation.

The church in Alvdal was built according to the plans of Christian H. Grosch in 1861. The church was clad with exterior panels and painted white in 1867. The church consists of volumes of different widths in typical Grosch forms. The interior is relatively well preserved from the time of construction, but the colours come from the restoration of 1958-60.

The Alversund church is a long wooden church from 1879, designed by the architect Jon Jonsen Alvær. The old church was still standing when the present church was built and it remained standing for a few years before it was sold at auction. In 1979 the church was renovated.

The Ålvik church in Kvam was built in masonry in 1962. The architect of the church is Esben Poulsson.

Alvor Parish Church (Igreja Matriz de Alvor) was founded in the 16th century and is dedicated to the Divine Saviour.

Ålvundeid church is an octagonal wooden church built in 1848 according to Ole Pedersen Tøft's drawings and the sacristy and porch were added in 1955. Both the pulpit and the baptismal font were made for the church's 100th anniversary in 1948. The baroque altarpiece from 1725 originally stood in Kristiansund church and is made by Peder Knutsen from Fræna.
