Burfjord Church is a long church that was built as a prayer house for Laestadian Lutherans and converted into a church with a dedication on 5 July 2009. Laestadianism is a pietistic Lutheran revival movement that originated in northern Scandinavia in the mid-19th century.

The Burkhan Bakshin Altan Sume is the largest Buddhist temple in the Kalmykia Republic. It was opened in 2005, on the anniversary of the deportation of the Kalmyks to Siberia and the Far East in 1943. The building consists of 7 levels. The first level contains a library, a museum and a conference room. On the second level, there is a prayer room (Dugan) with a statue of Gautama Buddha.

Bus’k Jewish Cemetery is one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Ukraine. The oldest preserved Jewish tombstone in mainland Ukraine, dated to 1520, is located in this cemetery, as well as around ten 16th-century tombstones. The cemetery was operating until WWII.

The Bützow collegiate church was originally built in the second half of the 13th century as a collegiate church of the residence of the bishops of Schwerin. It is a three-nave brick hall church with three equally high naves and a tower of about 74 metres high.

Buvik Church is an octagonal church consecrated in 1823. The building was designed using the Klæbu church (built by Lars Larsen Forsæth) as a model. Both churches have the same elongated octagonal shape and are almost the same size. The church lacked a sacristy from the beginning and received one in an extension on the east side in 1978. It originally had a round dome which was destroyed by lightning in 1861 and replaced by an octagonal bell tower. The red brick roof was replaced by Alta slate in 1920.
