The Ask church was consecrated in 1908 and restored in 1954-55. The first attempt to build a new church on Ask failed in 1872 as the town council did not agree with the idea, but in 1903 a committee was appointed to find land, plans, financing and permits. The designs chosen to build the church later were an improved version of Sandeid's church in Ryfylke.

The Ask Chapel was built in 1936-37 and designed by the architect L. W. Wilhelmsen. The woodcarvings were made by the famous visual artist Ståle Kyllingstad (1903-1987).

The Agios Georgios church is a good 300m northeast of the Agios Ioannis church in the northern area of the original settlement area. The church was built in 1861 and consecrated by Archbishop Sofronios in 1867.

The Agios Ioannis church is very centrally located in the original settlement area and was built in the 19th century. Although there was a mosque in the village, the Agios Ioannis Church was converted into a mosque ("Paşaköy Camii").

The Panagia Theotokos Church, built in the 15-16th century, is located in the middle of the old cemetery, which is north of the village (about 600m north of the Agios Georgios church).
