The period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. It first appears on a cadastral map of 1858, but the earliest preserved gravestone dates from the first half of the 20th century. The cemetery was fenced by ESJF in November 2016.

Bilbao Cathedral probably dates from before the city was founded around 1300 when Bilbao was just a fishing village. The current building of the cathedral was constructed from the end of the 14th century until the 19th century. The cathedral is dedicated to Santiago as it is located on one of the pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela. It obtained the title of Minor Basilica in 1819, before becoming the cathedral of the Diocese of Bilbao in 1950.

Probably built by the Billingsfors factory's carpenters, the altarpiece was painted in the 16th century by Jan van Scorel, a dutch painter that played a leading role in introducing the Italian Renaissance into the Netherlandish paintings.

The Bingen Chapel is a long wooden church dating from 1924 and designed by Alfred Christian Dahl. The altarpiece is decorated with the motif "Jesus i Getsemane" and was made by August Klogstad in 1927. The organ is from 1951.

Biri Church is a wooden cruciform church dating from 1777. A lower sacristy is built behind the choir. There are entrances and small porches to the north, west and south. The windows were given their present appearance during a modernisation in 1885, with a large window in each of the sidewalls of the cross arms. The interior has undergone several repairs and restorations over the years. Several layers of paint were removed and the original appearance was restored in the 1930s and 1954.

Birkeland church is a long church completed in 1878 by architect Giovanni Jacob Harbitz Müller. In the Middle Ages, there was a stave church on the same site, first mentioned in written sources in 1329. The medieval church was demolished, and a new timber church was built sometime before 1642. In 1839 the parish took over the church. The timber church was demolished before the new stone church was built and finally consecrated on November 21, 1878.

The church of Birkenes is a cruciform church dating from 1858. It was built on the same site as the former church of Birkenes, by the builder Mikkel Mortensen. The church was renovated on the occasion of the 100th anniversary in 1958.

The church of St Philip was built for the growing town of Birmingham in 1715. The church became a cathedral when a new Diocese was formed in 1905. The most significant treasures are the stunning set of stained glass windows by Birmingham born artist, Edward Burne-Jones.

Birmingham Central Mosque is a Muslim place of worship run by the Birmingham Mosque Trust. It is the second purpose-built mosque in the United Kingdom, after the Shah Jahan Mosque in Woking.
