The church of Saint-Sauveur is of medieval origin, with the choir and the bell tower being the oldest parts, dating from the 12th century. The church was remodelled in 1859 and the sacristy was added in the 20th century.

Hôtel-Dieu built in 1607 (destroyed). Its chapel dedicated to Saint Saviour and built by the architect Thomas Poussin was rebuilt between 1738 and 1744 (dated by historical works) . The engineer Garangeau drew the plans and the work was followed by the architect Michel Marlon (attributions by historical works). Burned down in 1944, the chapel underwent important restorations. It was reopened in 1974 to house the temporary exhibitions of the municipal museum.

The church of Saint-Savinien is a Romanesque building constructed between the 11th and 13th centuries. The present sanctuary is the successor of an ancient priory, mentioned in a charter of 1039, of which nothing remains. Heavily damaged during the Hundred Years' War (1337-1453), when the Charente was a border between the English and French possessions, and then during the religious conflicts of the 16th century, it has been restored several times.

The church of Saint-Sébastien is the local church of the small village of Drinklange in the north of Luexembourg.

Dating from the 19th century, this modestly sized church has however been restored to adapt to Orthodox worship, and today benefits from a colourful and rich decoration, corresponding to a certain extent to what can be seen in Orthodox places of worship, thus giving the church its charm, on this small plot of land.

The church of Saint-Simon was built in the 13th century, probably from 1283. It blends Romanesque and Gothic styles. In the 1960s, during the Soviet occupation, the church became a museum. The congregation returned to the building in 1988. The church has a beautiful pipe organ built in 1886 by a famous European organ builder, Friedrich Ladegast.

Sizun owes its fame to its magnificent parish enclosure, which it owes to the prosperity of the linen industry it enjoyed in the 16th, 17th and early 18th centuries (more than 35 factories were counted there). The parish enclosure of SIZUN, classified as a Historic Monument, is distinguished from other towns by its unique architecture whose ingenuity forces admiration. The Gothic style bell tower is one of the last with spire erected in Brittany, under the reign of Louis XV and bears the dates 1728/1735. It rests on four pillars and has no foundation. Its slender spire, of great finesse, culminates at 56 m. The Arc de Triomphe (1585/1590) is the monument that strikes the attention of all visitors to the parish enclosure. It gave access to the cemetery which, in the past, was located around the church. It is said to be the most beautiful of its kind in Brittany.

The church of Pierrefonds is dedicated to Saint Sulpice de Bourges, which allows us to conclude that it was founded from the end of the Merovingian period. A number of churches in the region are dedicated to the same patron saint.

The church Saint Sulpice d'Avoise, dominates the river of Sarthe. Built in the twelfth century, it was reworked many times to take its current form, with renovations completed in the nineteenth century. It is a Romanesque building with a cruciform plan with a single paneled nave and a flat choir. It features an altarpiece by Nicolas Bouteiller, a chalice and various classified statues and bas-reliefs.

Founded in the 11th century to the south of the castle, rebuilt in the 15th and 16th centuries in a flamboyant Gothic style, completed for the choir in the 18th century, the church of St Sulpice is one of the richest in Brittany. A major element of the heritage of Fougerais, the church of St Sulpice was classified as a historic monument on 26 September 1910.
