The Church of the Transfiguration on Mount Tabor is a late Gothic church built between 1440 and 1512. The church was destroyed three times by the fires that ravaged the city, in 1532, 1602, and again in 1621, during the Thirty Years' War. In 1896-1898, the church was once again Gothic.

The Catholic Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in 1764 for a Carmelite monastery that has not survived until today. The Baroque church used to have two towers - on the sides of the triangular pediment were two quadrilaterals with faceted domes. The entrance vestibule is attached to the main facade, and low sacristies are attached to the sides of the apse.

The Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary was completed in 1854 in neo-Romanesque style. It was rebuilt in 1911 and again in the 1940s and 1970s. The main decoration of the church is a large wooden altar with three altarpieces created by the Viennese painter Schiler. Under the church is a spacious crypt with an altar where the nuns were buried.

The church was built with the support of John II, Prince of Liechtenstein (1858-1929), under the direction of the architect Karel Weinbrenner. As a model for the construction of the church, Weinbrenner chose the Viennese Church of Our Lady of Victory by the architect Friedrich Schmidt.
