Gereformeerde Kerk

Krabbendijke, NL

Late neo-Gothic church with tower. Replaced an earlier church building at Dorpsstraat 23.

Gereformeerde Kerk

Donkerbroek, NL

Neo-Romanesque church with roof turret. Built as a Reformed church, protected by the State because of the single-manual organ that was made in 1821 by A. van Gruisen from Leeuwarden for a church that was still unknown. In 1920 it was moved to Donkerbroek by Bakker & Timmenga from Leeuwarden. The case and the mechanism were renewed on that occasion. In 1964 the company Gebr. Reil (Heerde) expanded it with a mixer. The company Bakker & Timmenga restored it in 1997.

Gereformeerde Kerk

Sint Laurens, NL

Built as a Reformed Church. Hall church without tower in Amsterdam School style.

Gereformeerde Kerk

Boven-Hardinxveld, NL

Hall church with roof turret, built to replace the hall church from 1861 on the Rivierdijk.

Gereformeerde Kerk

Garderen, NL

Reconstruction church with small tower. Reformed church until 2004, then Continued Reformed Church. As in six other local Reformed church communities, the members of the congregation in Garderen did not want to merge with the Protestant Church of the Netherlands (PKN), which was officially established in 2004. They wanted to remain independent. Since 2004, this church has therefore been called the "Continued Reformed Church". As of January 1, 2016, this is no longer a Continued Reformed Church, but a "regular" Reformed church. And in 2017, this congregation joined the PKN.

Gereformeerde Kerk

Hellendoorn, NL

Interesting modern church with freestanding bell tower. Replaced the earlier church in the former station.

Gereformeerde Kerk

Earnewâld, NL

Hall church, built in 1906 with round arch windows and short lower transepts. Small stone facade tower, crowned by pyramid-shaped spire. Interior changed in 1951. During a change to the interior in 1992, the pulpit from the construction period was replaced by a pulpit in the shape of the bow of a skûtsje.

Gereformeerde Kerk (Vrijgemaakt)

s-Hertogenbosch, NL

Former Roman Catholic Maria Geboortekerk, in 2000 Reformed Church Liberated. The church building, which had fallen into some disrepair, was renovated at the time. The interior was slightly modified, with respect for the original architecture, including the original granite floor. Furthermore, the focal wall was changed, such as the artistically designed modern pulpit and baptismal font. On the left in the side wall is an artistically designed panel, which is "folded shut" during "Lent" and "folded open" again on Easter Sunday. On the left front on the side wall is an organ by the Gebr. Reil, Heerde, ao. 1963, renovated in 1983, with the console moved from the side to the front. This organ was therefore located in the previous church building of the Reformed Church Liberated. Once again extensively renovated, in connection with placement in the current building, by Pels & Van Leeuwen Kerkorgelbouw, Den Bosch, and put into use on 27 October 2001. Right above the entrance door of this complex is a memorial stone with the year 1962 and the name "Gereformeerde Kerk". Presumably this stone comes from the previous church building, and the name was added later. The members of this congregation of the Geref. Kerk Vrijgemaakt (Reformed Church) at a certain point, during a consultation about what to call their church building, declared themselves in favour of the official name "Gereformeerde Kerk" (partly because in the meantime the denomination "Gereformeerde Kerk" in 's-Hertogenbosch had already become "Samen op Weg", now PKN).

Gereformeerde Kerk (Vrijgemaakt)

Hoogkerk, NL

The foundation of the current church building dates from 1861, the year in which the secession of 1834 also took place in Hoogkerk. In 1908, the church building on the Hoendiep was expanded and the church building received its current tower. In 1920, a wing with a gallery was added to the east side and the church building was given the shape of an L. In 1960, the next renovation took place; the community building 't Anker was built against the church on the west side with a large divisible hall and a small meeting room. Due to the growth of the congregation, there was a need for a larger church building at the end of the 1980s. After much discussion and various plans, it was decided to renovate the existing building, including expanding the church hall.
