The cemetery was most likely established in the 16th or 17th century. In the mid-19th century, it appears on Russian maps. The cemetery was once larger than the fenced area. In 1941, the number of Jews in Staryy Chortoryys’k was estimated to be around 300. On June 26, 1941, the Wehrmacht occupied the town, killing 300 Jews near the village cemetery. In 1968, survivors paid for the erection of a monument on the site of the shooting.

The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. Probably, it was marked on Russian map of the 1860s, so it can be assumed that the cemetery emerged in the mid 19th century. The oldest gravestone relates to the first half of the 20th century. According to locals, the cemetery operated until the mid-20th century.

The Stathelle Church is a long church built in 1964 in concrete, steel and wood in the style of a boathouse. The Stathelle Church was expanded in 2010-11.

Statland church is a wooden church completed in 1992. The architect of the church is Reidar Moholdt.

The Status Quo (Sephardi) synagogue in Senta is a Sephardi synagogue built in 1929. This Neo-Baroque brick building has been transformed into a sport facility.

The Status Quo Synagogue in Trnava was completed in 1897 by architect Jakob Gartner. The synagogue was restored in the 1990s and in 2016. In use until WWII, this brick synagogue in the Neo-Moorish style now serves as a cultural centre.

The Rumbach St. synagogue was built in 1872 by Viannese architect Otto Waagner. The synagogue is designed in a Moorish revival style. The colorful leaded windows are especially beautiful.

Stavang Church is a long church dating from 1957. The architect of the church was Ole Halvorsen. The new church replaces a wooden church from 1873 which burned down on Christmas Day 1951. The old church was designed by Christian Christie and is very similar to the Kyrkjebø church in Sogn.

The cathedral of Stavanger is the oldest church in Norway and the seat of the bishop of Stavanger. It is speculated that the church was first constructed in 1150, and has gone through several renovations during its lifetime.

The mosque is centrally located in the village. The present mosque dates from 1937, replacing a previous mosque on the same site, and was built largely from the stones of the old mosque.
