The Rafsbotn Chapel is a wooden chapel dating from 1989. The first chapel in Rafsbotn was built around 1920, but it was burnt down by the Germans in 1944. A second chapel was completed in 1949, it was replaced by the present chapel in 1988 when the parish of Alta took over the ownership of the chapel.

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is a church in the town of Ragusa. The first church, before the earthquake of 1693, was located in the western part of the old town of Ragusa, under the walls of the medieval castle, where the church of St. Agnes, built on the ruins at the end of the 18th century, now stands. Severely damaged by the earthquake, it was rebuilt at the end of the 17th century in the centre of the new town of Ragusa.

The Rairettes Chapel, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, was consecrated in 1930. As early as the 1920s, the inhabitants of Sion began to build the first chalets in the Rairettes area. The chapel was built by inhabitants tired of travelling to Basse-Nendaz for Sunday mass.

The chapel is above the old stables built at Raithby Hall in 1779 by the then owner Robert Carr Brackenbury. It is one of the oldest Methodist chapels still in use in the country, and the oldest in the county of Lincolnshire, having been opened by John Wesley on 5th July 1779. The chapel retains the original dado rail below a segmental vaulted ceiling.

The Raižiai Mosque is a Tatar mosque, the only one in Lithuania that functioned during the Soviet era. The mosque was first mentioned in the sources in 1663, but the present mosque was built in 1889. Renovated in 1993, it houses the oldest known minbar (pulpit) dating from 1686.

The Benedictine monastery in Rajhrad was founded according to tradition in 1045, making it the oldest monastic-type foundation in Moravia. The present monastic complex dates back to the 18th century, it was built between 1721 and 1746 according to the plans of the architect Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel; however, its project was not completed. After being dissolved in 1950, the largely devastated monastery was taken over by the Benedictine order in 1990. Its entire complex with the Church of St. Peter and Paul is protected as a cultural monument and in 2005 the library became the basis of the new Memorial of Literature in Moravia.

The Rakkestad church is a medieval stone church with a rectangular nave and a narrower, lower choir. The present bell tower, located in front of the west entrance, was built as part of the reconstruction of the church in 1875, which was carried out under the direction of municipal engineer G. B. Kielland. At the same time, the choir vault and the west portal were enlarged, among other things. The decoration was also renewed, but the altarpiece, the baptismal font and the pulpit were preserved.

Rakovac Monastery lies north of Fruška Gora mountain, near the village of the same name. It is one of the 16 surviving Orthodox monasteries built between the 15th and 18th centuries on the Fruška Gora mountain in Serbia (also known as the Serbian Mount Athos).
