The church of the Four Martyrs is a place of worship dedicated to the four Cretan martyrs (Aggelis, Emmanouil, Georgios and Nikolaos) who were executed by the Ottomans in 1824 after refusing to convert to Islam. It was inaugurated in 1975.

The Church of the Gesù is the mother church of the Society of Jesus. Built between 1568 and 1584, it was designed by a Florentine architect, Nanni di Baccio Bigio. In 1554 the project was reworked by Michelangelo and then by Vignola (1568). The construction of the church is considered an important turning point in the history of art, the whole of its design serving the cause of the Counter-Reformation.

The Church of the Heart of Jesus was built between 1892 and 1894 by the Viennese architect Ludwig Schöne in the neo-gothic style. It was first renovated by the church in 1936 and then by the state in 1987. Inside, the polychrome ceiling, the painting of the walls and columns is the work of Otto Kott. Several of the stained glass windows were donated by local families.

The Church of the Holy Annunciation of the Mother of God was consecrated by Gerasim Dermias, Metropolitan of Pelagonia, in 1838. The church is of the basilica type with three naves without a dome. The colonnades of the narthex support the gallery on the second floor and end with a chapel on the periphery. The central nave is vaulted and the side aisles are tiled. In the courtyard of the church is the tomb of the Bulgarian revolutionary Pere Toshev (1865-1912).

The Serbian Orthodox Church of the Holy Annunciation was built in 1877. The church has an important collection of icons, some of them dating from the 15th and 16th centuries. The church survived damage from bombing during the Siege of Dubrovnik in 1991. Restorations were done in 2009.

The Church of the Holy Apostles is a Byzantine church, probably dating back to the 12th century. During the years of the second Venetian occupation (1685-1715), a basilica dome was added to the west of the original nucleus, in order to give more space to the church, as well as a bell tower in the northeast corner between the antennas of the cross. The church is decorated with frescoes which probably date from the 16th and 17th centuries and are preserved in a poor state.

The Church of the Holy Archangel in Plopiș is a particularly successful example of the wooden churches of Maramureş. Built by Greek-Catholics between 1796 and 1798, it acquired paintings from 1811 onwards. Restorations were carried out in 1961, 1981 and 1990.

The Church of the Holy Archangels of Rogoz is one of the wooden churches of Maramureş in Romania. The current building, made of elm wood, was built in 1663, after the fire of the old church by the Tatars in 1661. The imposing tower of the church and the paintings are due to the restoration of 1785.
