The cathedral of Camerino, designed by Andrea Vici and Clemente Folchi, was rebuilt at the beginning of the 19th century on the site of the Romano-Gothic cathedral destroyed in the earthquake of 1799. The interior and the sacristies contain precious examples of polychrome wood carvings from the 13th and 15th centuries, as well as interesting paintings by 17th-century Mannerist painters. It is currently unusable, as is almost the entire city centre, due to the damage caused by the 2016 earthquake in central Italy.

The Çana Synagogue in Istanbul is a Sephardi synagogue from the 14th century. This stone synagogue is now abandoned.

When stepping up to Canongate Kirk you may be excused for not quite knowing what the building is. The front is unusual with its flat facade, heavy Doric porch and strange Dutch style gable, topped by a set of real antlers.

The Church of Sant Vicenç de Cardona is located within the walls of the castle of Cardona. It was built in the 12th century in a Romanesque style. The church has a basilica plan, with three naves and an inconspicuous transept. The presbytery is located above a crypt. The church is preceded by an atrium, or galilee.

The monastery was founded by Augustinian canons after the Christian reconquest of Alqueza from the Islamic settlers. It preserves a 15th-century cloister with mural paintings and the church, modified in the 16th century.

The church of Santa María de Lluçà has its origins in the territorial reorganisation carried out in a border area between the lands in Islamic hands and those that had already been recovered.

The Augustinian canonry of Santa Maria de Vilabertran was established by Pere Rigau, a priest associated with an ancient church on the site, which has historical records dating back to 969. The significance of this church is highlighted by the presence of the tombstone of Alfonso "El Casto" , who passed away in 1196.

Sant Jaume de Frontanyà's canonry originates from an older church dedicated to Sant Jaume, located on a high spot west of the current site. Today, all the monastic buildings have disappeared except for the magnificent church, a single-nave building with a transept where three apses open.

You can't come to Canterbury without visiting the world famous cathedral, site of the shrine of Thomas Becket and the seat of the Archbishop. The spectacular building houses many stunning features, including a Romanesque crypt, a perpendicular nave and beautiful medieval stained glass windows. It is the Mother Church of the worldwide Anglican Communion and seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
