The Church of San Salvador de Coruxo is a Christian temple located in the parish of Coruxo, in the Val del Fragoso, in the town hall of Vigo, four kilometers from the urban area of ​​the city. It dates back to the 12th century, and until the 14th century it was a monastery owned by the Order of Saint Benedict dependent on Celanova, later becoming a parish church.

The church of San Salvador de Coruxo, dating from the 12th century, was a monastery belonging to the order of San Benito until the 14th century. The church is built with Galician granite stone walls and a tiled roof. It has a Latin cross basilica plan with three naves and three semicircular apses, the central one being wider and higher. Together with the churches of Santa María de Castrelos and Santiago de Bembrive, the Romanesque church of Coruxo is one of the best-preserved in Vigo.

The church of San Salvador de Valdediós, commonly known as "el Conventín", is located next to the monastery of Santa María de Valdediós. It is a representative monument of Asturian post-Romanesque architecture. The construction of the building is attributed to King Alfonso III (848-910), the church having been consecrated during his reign, in the year 892. The temple was connected to the Monastery of Santa María by a passageway that was demolished in the middle of the 19th century by the Historical and Artistic Monuments Commission of the Province of Oviedo.

The church of San Silvestro in Capite was founded in the 8th century with the adjoining Basilian monastery. In the 12th century, Pope Innocent II transferred the relic of the head of St. John the Baptist to it and the name was changed to St. John in Capitol. Between 1198 and 1216, the church was remodelled and the Romanesque bell tower was built. The monastery building was remodelled in 1588-1591 and the church in 1593-1601. The interior decoration was completed in 1696 and Domenico de' Rossi completed the façade in 1703.

The church of San Sisto was built from 1490 to 1511 on a former church belonging to a monastery of Benedictine women, which was founded in the 9th century. At the end of the 15th century, the church was demolished in order to build the new temple. The facade was completed only in 1591, and was remodelled in its present classical style in 1755. The monastery was abolished in 1810 and transformed into barracks, while the church became a parish church.

The church of San Vicente Mártir is a Romanesque church built at the end of the 12th or beginning of the 13th century. Originally, it was supposed to have a basilica plan with three naves in four sections each, but a drastic reform in the 16th century reduced it to just one, and another reform in the 17th century completely removed its original head and disguised its interior, so that only the sidewalls and the gable are preserved in Romanesque style.

It is a Romanesque church that was built at the beginning of the 12th century. It consists of a simple vaulted nave in a cradle, covered in thick slates. It has a semicircular apse surmounted by an arcaded steeple. The church, anchored in the rock, forms, with the houses of the village, a harmonious architectural ensemble.
